The Japan campus of Temple University (TUJ) continued the 2025 commencement ceremony of Temple University in Tokyo on May 16 at Hitomi Memorial Hall. More than 1,300 guests, including family members, friends, and distinguished guests from Japan and abroad, were invited to honor the Class of 2025 and their acquisition of undergraduate and graduate degrees from a globally renowned and top American public university. The graduates comprise a diverse and accomplished group whose achievements span academic excellence, international recognition, practical skills development, and career success.

As TUJ enters one of the most dynamic periods in its 43 years of history, with enrollment continuing to reach all-time highs and the official opening of a second location Kyoto in January, Temple University awarded degrees to almost 500 students who completed their degree studies in Japan. These graduates earned more than 400 bachelor’s degrees, over 80 master’s degrees in education, management, and law, and four doctoral degrees in education. Over 300 undergraduate and graduate students attended the commencement ceremony.

The broadcast can also be viewed on the Graduation 2025 website.
