Four TUJ alumni answer questions during the first “Life After TUJ” panel session at the Parliament on November 7, 2024.
Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) organized its annual series of “Life After TUJ” career panels in November 2024, offering current students a chance to hear firsthand from alumni working at global companies. The three-part series featured graduates employed at leading organizations such as Boston Consulting Group, Oracle, IBM, and Nomura Research Institute, who shared valuable insights into their career journeys and professional growth.
The event spanned three evenings—November 7, 15, and 20—with the first session held during TUJ’s annual Spirit Week. The November 7 panel featured alumni from a variety of fields, while the November 15 and 20 panels focused on marketing/sales and technology, respectively.
Opening Session Showcases Alumni Expertise
The first panel held in the TUJ Parliament student lounge, began at 6:30 p.m. on November 7. Four alumni participated:

Each panelist introduced themselves and described their roles at their respective companies. They emphasized the importance of curiosity, asking questions in class and not hesitating to seek guidance from people, including those in senior positions.
Following the panel, students engaged with the speakers in an informal setting over sweets and drinks in the cafeteria. This networking opportunity allowed students to ask detailed questions, which alumni addressed, offering personalized advice.
