On September 17, Dean Bruce Stronach of Temple University, Japan Campus delivered a speech at the FD Forum hosted by Teikyo University’s Center for Teaching and Learning. The Forum was organized as part of the Center’s mission to obtain and offer information and various activities concerning faculty development.

The presentation was entitled “Building a Leadership Team to Accomplish University Reform: What are the Necessary Administrative Skills and Abilities?” in which he discussed various topics including collaboration between faculty and administrators as equals, the necessity of professional administrative training, and the importance of a top-down approach in university reform.
