Temple University announced June 8 (EST) that it has selected Dr. Jason Wingard, former dean and professor of the School of Professional Studies at Columbia University, as its next president. A unanimous vote of confirmation by the Temple Board of Trustees on the day, Dr. Wingard will become the university’s 12th president, and will begin serving on July 1.
