Supplement: Tokyo is a series of art & design-focused talks. Graduation is a scary notion to many students. The theme for Supplement 5 is “Post-“, where there will be a roundtable discussion with TUJ graduates about their experiences post-graduation and their experiences working inside and outside of the arts.

Ian Lynam

Ian Lynam is a graphic designer and writer living in Tokyo. He runs a multidisciplinary design studio operating at the intersection of graphic design, design education and design research. He specializes in identity, cultural research and typography.

He is a graduate of Portland State University (B.S. Graphic Design) and California Institute of the Arts (M.F.A. Graphic Design). He is faculty at Vermont College of Fine Arts in the MFA Graphic Design program. He is faculty in Tokyo at Meme Design School and faculty at Temple University Japan.
