New Campus Opening Celebrations / Conferral of Honorary Doctorate (Nov. 6)
Over 40 representatives from Temple Main Campus in the U.S., led by Board of Trustees Chair Mitchell Morgan, joined the ceremony. After the ribbon cutting and kagamiwari, customary opening of a barrel of sake, the ceremony moved to SWU’s Hitomi Memorial Hall, where SWU Chancellor Mariko Bando was given an honorary doctorate from Temple University.
