Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) has established a scholarship for the Master in Management (MiM) degree program, available to U.S. alumni of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET), starting in August 2024. The JET program is aimed at promoting grass-roots international exchange between Japan and other countries.

TUJ and the U.S. Japan Exchange & Teaching Programme Association (USJETAA) have formed a collaboration agreement to provide special international education opportunities and scholarships for JET alumni to enroll in Temple Japan’s MiM program. Under the agreement, TUJ will offer all eligible alumni a one-time scholarship grant of 400,000 yen to be applied toward tuition and fees. The scholarship will be valid for the next three cohorts from August.

The MiM program, designed for recent university graduates from various backgrounds with limited work experience, can be completed in one year. This 30-credit master’s degree program is aimed at students seeking to enhance their undergraduate degrees with essential business skills. Students will gain knowledge and gain experience in accounting, data analysis, finance, information technology and people management, with a strategic approach to business.

In addition to the MiM program scholarship, TUJ’s Graduate College of Education waives the one-time new student fee to current JET participants and alumni. Also, the Continuing Education program offers a 15% discount on the one-time entrance fee and a 15% discount on tuition fees.
