Why are we here? Because less than 10% of editors on Wikipedia are women.
Wikipedia is the largest and most popular general reference work on the internet with more than 40 million articles in more than 250 different languages. The fact is that when we don’t tell our stories or participate in the ways our history is preserved, it gets erased. We need your help to fix the big problem of gaps in the coverage of knowledge about women, gender, feminism, and the arts on one of the most visited websites in the world.
EVERYONE is welcome! People of all gender identities and expressions are invited to participate. And even if you don’t have time to edit, please stop by and show your support.
